I'm not sure what kind of bad day the first reviewer had, but every friend of mine I have taken to this restaurant (8 so far) has raved about it. It is one of the most delicious places to dine in Queens. The chili mushroom is incredible, as is the palak paneer, the mixed veggies, the jhol momos. It's all so wonderful, the service is really friendly and fast, and it's BYOB!

I will be very honest, when it first opened, I really enjoyed their food. But few months after that, it has not been consistent at all. I love the thenthuk they had before but now its a mediocre one. The noodles were overly cooked, beef in it has a very gamey taste to it. And veggie thenthuk came with no veggies, well not entirely, but just added frozen peas and corns.
I think the restaurant has potential for growth but it needs to be consistent on what they are trying to serve. I have also tried other stuffs as well and its never like the first one you've ordered.
Now whoever is reading this, this is not a message to stay away from this place. You should go ahead and try it. You might get lucky.
But for the people behind this restaurant, please do take into consideration as a feedback for growth. We would love to have more restaurants like you come up around the area. -

am from Nepal and I have to admit that the food was not great. I judge nepali food on the most basic of our dishes- The Thali. The Thali basically includes rice in the middle with small portions of meat, vege, achar (pickles), lentils (Daal) around it. If you go wrong with the most basic food of Nepal then I'm really not impressed. I was really excited that this place opened up in my neighborhood and wanted to take my wife there but we were very disappointed. I hope they read some of these reviews and make changes as I can say honestly that there are not a lot of good nepali restaurants around here. I don't know if I can explain this but if you have a delicious thali- It reminds me of being back in Nepal and I haven't felt like that in any of the nepali restaurants in NY so far.
